Everything Nepal Buyers Ask Before Ordering

1. Are these products really original from USA?
Yes. Every product we sell is sourced from authorized USA distributors or licensed US retail stores (CVS, Walgreens, Target, Walmart). We retain purchase receipts and can share them on request.
2. Can I see proof before I buy?
Absolutely. Message us on WhatsApp with the product name and we will send the sealed product photo, expiry date photo, and purchase proof before you place your order. No pressure to buy.
3. Is Cash on Delivery available everywhere in Nepal?
COD is available across most of Nepal including Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara, Chitwan, Butwal, Birgunj, and Biratnagar. For remote districts, please confirm with us on WhatsApp before ordering.
4. How long does delivery take?
Kathmandu Valley: 1–3 business days. Major cities (Pokhara, Chitwan, Butwal): 3–5 days. Other districts: 5–7 days. Remote areas: up to 12 days. We give you an estimate when we confirm your order.
5. How do I know the product is not expired?
We photograph the expiry date on every batch before dispatch. We only ship products with a minimum of 12 months shelf life remaining. Request the expiry photo before ordering — we will send it.
6. What if the product I receive is damaged or tampered?
Do not accept it. Photograph it immediately and contact us on WhatsApp. We arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
7. Can I order by WhatsApp instead of the website?
Yes. Many customers prefer WhatsApp ordering. Message us the product name, your delivery address, and phone number. We process it exactly like a website order — COD on delivery.
8. Why are your prices higher than local market imports?
Because our products are genuine USA originals with full documentation. Grey-market imports may be cheaper because they can be counterfeit, near-expired, or improperly stored. Our price includes authenticity, full shelf life, legal import documentation, and after-sales support.
9. Is CeraVe from TrueUS.co the same as the USA version?
Yes. We source directly from USA. The formulas, packaging, and lot numbers match exactly what you would buy in a US pharmacy. Some locally-sourced versions of international brands can differ in formula — ours do not.
10. Are your baby products safe for newborns?
Products like Aquaphor Baby, Aveeno Baby, and CeraVe Baby are widely used for infants in the USA. However, every baby's skin is different. We recommend a patch test first and consultation with your pediatrician for very young infants or babies with known skin conditions.
11. Can these products help with eczema?
Products like Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy and CeraVe Moisturizing Cream are designed to support dry, eczema-prone skin. They are not medical treatments and do not cure eczema. For diagnosed eczema, please consult a dermatologist. Our products may be part of a supportive routine recommended by your doctor.
12. Do the whitening strips really work?
Crest 3D Whitestrips are among the most widely used teeth whitening products in the USA. Results vary depending on the type of staining and consistency of use. They are not a substitute for professional dental cleaning. People with dental crowns, fillings, or sensitive teeth should consult their dentist first.
13. Can I use sunscreen from TrueUS.co in Nepal's climate?
Yes. Sunscreen is important in Nepal year-round, including in mountain regions where UV exposure is higher than at sea level. Check the SPF level and reapplication instructions on the specific product page.
14. What is your return policy?
If you receive a damaged, tampered, or wrong product, we replace or refund within 24 hours of notification. We do not accept returns of opened products unless there is a verified quality issue. COD refusals without valid reason may require prepayment on future orders.
15. Can I preorder products that are out of stock?
Yes. For high-demand products we offer preorder. Delivery takes longer as stated on the product page, but payment is still COD on delivery. No prepayment required. Message us on WhatsApp to preorder.
16. Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?
Yes, for orders of 5 or more units of the same product, or for salon and clinic orders, contact us on WhatsApp for bulk pricing. We handle bulk orders separately for best pricing and faster processing.
17. Is Aquaphor safe for sensitive skin?
Aquaphor Healing Ointment is fragrance-free, preservative-free, and non-comedogenic. It is widely used on sensitive and reactive skin. Patch test on a small area first if you have very reactive skin.
18. Which CeraVe cleanser is better — Hydrating or Foaming?
The Hydrating Facial Cleanser is better for dry or sensitive skin as it does not strip moisture. The Foaming Facial Cleanser is better for oily or combination skin. When in doubt, start with the Hydrating version as it is gentler for most skin types.
19. Can I use these products if I have acne-prone skin?
Most of our products are non-comedogenic and suitable for acne-prone skin. Check the individual product page. For acne-prone skin routines, our Stridex pads, PanOxyl wash, and Hero Mighty Patch are specifically designed for that skin type.
20. I saw the same product cheaper on Daraz. Why should I buy from you?
Please ask the Daraz seller for their USA purchase receipt, sealed product photo, and expiry date. If they provide all three, compare carefully. If they cannot, you have your answer. We provide full proof for every order.
21. Do you have a physical store?
Currently TrueUS.co is online-only with home delivery. You can always request product proof via WhatsApp before ordering. We are exploring Kathmandu pickup options for the future.
22. How do I track my order?
We send your courier tracking number via WhatsApp once your order is dispatched. You can track in real-time using the courier partner's tracking system. We also check in with you on delivery day.
23. Are your products safe during pregnancy?
Many of our products (e.g. Aquaphor, CeraVe Moisturizing Cream) are commonly used during pregnancy in the USA. For any skincare use during pregnancy, we recommend consulting your OB-GYN or healthcare provider, especially for products containing retinol or active ingredients.
24. Can I recommend a product I want you to stock?
Yes. We actively take product requests from Nepal customers. Message us on WhatsApp with the product name and we will evaluate it for our next sourcing batch.
25. What payment methods do you accept?
Cash on Delivery (COD) is our primary method. We also accept eSewa and Khalti for customers who prefer digital payment. Bank transfer is available — contact us for account details.
